as i drove home tonight and passed ambulance after ambulance and police car after police car (or rather they passed me). i couldn't help but think how this is the case every night and it made me so sad. because i already feel like DC is such a dangerous place to live and this just seemed to confirm it. and then i remembered.I work at a hospital, on a campus that has 2 other major hospitals on it, next to other hospitals in the immediate area. and isn't the main purpose of an ambulance to transport patients to a hospital? yes, it is.
